Crosstalk Mechanism m6A regulators directly modulate the functionality of ncRNAs through specific targeting ncRNA
Crosstalk Summary Circ_RERE expression is downregulated in human osteoarthritis (OA) cartilage and chondrocytes, and circRERE downregulation is likely attributed to its increased m6A modification prone to endoribonucleolytic cleavage by YTHDF2-HRSP12-RNase P/MRP. Mechanistically, circRERE downregulation leads to aberrant beta-catenin ubiquitin and degradation by targeting hsa-miR-195-5p/IRF2BPL during OA pathogenesis.
